Research has shown that many of those living in areas of high deprivation or on low incomes are also subject to the ‘Poverty Premium’, where they are paying higher rates for goods and services. The APPG on Poverty is launching an inquiry into how businesses and others can help to tackle the poverty premium. The meeting will also hear from Sara Davies, Research Fellow at the Personal Finance Research Centre, University of Bristol.
