APPG publishes report on in-work poverty

In autumn 2021, the APPG on Poverty launched a short inquiry into in-work poverty, putting out a call for evidence then holding two evidence sessions. The first of these focused on the role employers can play, and the second on the experience of in-work poverty with people with lived experience.
This report brings together information from submissions to the APPG’s call for evidence. The APPG extends its thanks to all who took the time to submit evidence and contribute to the final version of this report.
The APPG hopes the government will take on board the recommendations in this report when putting together its own strategy to tackle in-work poverty.
