Posted on 12 Nov 2013 under Civil Society, Previous Publications

On November 19th representatives from each of the country’s Fairness Commissions will come together for the first time in Parliament to discuss the work of the commissions, the issues they seek to address, the recommendations they have made, the challenges they face and the opportunities they envisage going forward in trying to address poverty and inequality. Commissioners will also say what action they think government should take.

This work is being undertaken by Edge Hill University as part of the APPG Poverty’s branch of work on Civil Society solutions to poverty: http://www.appgpoverty.org.uk/society/civil-society-and-poverty/
