Working with Business

There is a long tradition of businesses developing corporate social responsibility programmes, though there is less on how businesses can reduce poverty both for those at work and through wider society.

Involving a number of business leaders who have expressed concern about rising poverty, the APPG Poverty will investigate what businesses can do to reduce poverty through wages, conditions of employment, purchasing policy, sub-contracting, advertising, marketing, democracy at work, and corporate social responsibility policies.
