APLE Collective Launch of Taking Voice Seriously Briefing Paper

The APPG Poverty is hosting the launch of APLE Collective’s Taking Voice Seriously Briefing Paper to coincide with the UN International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on 17th October.

APLE Collective are a national collective of individuals and organisations with lived experience of poverty. Our aim is to create a sustainable, grassroots network across the UK to raise awareness of poverty, reduce stigma and eradicate it. As a network we promote the voices of those with lived experience of poverty and we work collaboratively with others to influence change.

The Taking Voice Seriously Briefing Paper shares APLE Collective principles for action in addressing poverty with lived experience. APLE Collective members will be presenting the briefing paper’s key points and then a question and answer session will be facilitated by Baroness Ruth Lister.
